United Way KW’s Sponsored Employee Program offers you the opportunity to join forces with our staff for a 15 week period – usually during our fall campaign. Serving as an extension of our team, you’ll act as a resource person to assist workplaces in planning, implementing and monitoring their United Way KW campaigns, using tools like those found in our Campaign Toolkit.
As a sponsored employee, you’ll interact with both our internal United Way KW team and outside business contacts. Acting in a motivational role, you may be given an opportunity to hone and refine your skills in:

Many of our sponsored employees come from post-secondary institutions. Some are sponsored by the schools themselves, while others come to us through the generosity of local businesses and organizations.
