Become a United Way Volunteer

A large part of United Way’s strength is our volunteers – the generous members of our community who give their time to help make a difference. Without them, fewer miracles would happen in our community. Volunteers work with us in a diverse range of projects and roles.

Volunteer Committees

Volunteers work with us on numerous ongoing committees to govern the organization, to review collective outcomes, support fundraising efforts, and support us in finding long-term solutions to community issues:

  • Community Relations Team – serve as another link between United Way and funded programs, partners and community members.
  • Event Committees – assists with the planning and implementation of successful United Way events. Various Committee positions are available.
  • Individual Giving Cabinet – a group of dedicated leadership donors who, as passionate ambassadors, assist by engaging new donors, steward existing ones and build awareness through leadership presentations

  • NEW! New Business Team– helps with new prospects and opportunities for United Way
