Leadership Giving

United Way KW Leaders are individuals who annually donate $1,000 or more. Coming to us via both the workplace and direct contact, Leadership Donors are a solid, reliable foundation of people who continue to give at this level year after year. Their contributions represent an important part of our fundraising efforts. These giving individuals know that their efforts provide critical investment into the health and well-being of their community. They understand that their gift can help make a difference - and have committed their ongoing support. 

Levels of Giving

Whether you’re just starting out, well on your way or retiring next year, there is a place for you to participate in the Leadership Giving Program. 

Benefactor: $25,000+

Explorer: $10,000-$24,999

Pathfinder: $5,000 - $9,999

Patron: $2,000 - $4,999

Leader: $1,000 - $1,999

Why Becoming a Leader Benefits You

Tax Benefits:

A donation to United Way KW qualifies for a charitable income tax receipt, which will generate tax savings in Ontario of 22% on the first $200 and 40% on the balance (both provincial and federal taxes).

Recognition:

United Way KW recognizes your gracious contribution and community example by including your name on our online Leadership Donor List and other Leadership recognition materials.
