At United Way, we believe that a strong social services sector is imperative to the creation of a vibrant and thriving community.

Today’s United Way is a catalyst for local social change, not merely a source for its funding. Beyond monetary investment, we also mobilize staff, volunteers and other resources to achieve community impact and change community conditions for the better. It is the combination of all of our efforts - and those of our supported programs and initiatives, community partnerships and invested not-for-profit sector supports - that allows needs to be met and lasting change to be created across our community.

As our area experiences the changes that come with increased numbers of newcomers, an aging population, economic ups and downs, changing social circumstances, and other unexpected situations that affect our 5 Regional Priorities, there is peace of mind in knowing our community can—and will—take care of its own.
